Wiyabu (Hello in Gathang)
We would like to acknowledge the Worimi People as the traditional owners of the lands on which we learn and play. We pay our respects to the elders, past, present and emerging, and thank them for taking care of this land for over 60,000years. For countless generations, the Worimi have taught their children with a deep connection to country. At Stroud Preschool, where our environment connects our learning, we strive to continue to teach these values. We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Child Safe Standards
Stroud Preschool Management Committee prioritises and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care. To achieve this, we must establish a culture that places child safety at the centre of all organisational practices and communicate regularly about our commitment to this cause.
We must be proactive in identifying and preventing risks to child safety and use resources and training to continually improve our practices. Complaints must be taken seriously and responded to promptly and thoroughly, and we prioritise investment in all staff to understand their child safe responsibility to raise concerns.
We must use the Child Safe Standards as a guide to assess and improve our child safe practices, and our ultimate goal is to create an environment that promotes the growth and development of children in a safe and secure manner.
